The Society for Philosophy and Animal Minds is open to philosophers and scientists interested in the implications of scientific work on behavior and cognition for traditional philosophical questions about mental states in non-human animals. The Society was conceived in 2005 during the annual meeting of the Society for Philosophy and Psychology, and shares the SPP's objective of promoting interdisciplinary dialogue among scientists and philosophers.
